Payment Withdrawal Precautions
- Plan your ATM visit at least a week before the official payment disbursal, also don’t forget to check the validity of your SASSA card.
- Don’t forget to take your close family member with you as a companion.
- To save yourself from people rushing at ATMs, avoid peak hours and at the same time avoid visiting ATM cabins late at night to lower the chances of robberies.
- Don’t accept help offers from anyone present at the ATM, nor ask anyone to help you, discuss your problem with only bank staff for a solution.
- While using ATM machine, never allow any stranger to enter the cabin.
- When you enter your PIN, cover the keypad with your left hand and use your right hand to enter your PIN.
- At the moment ATM machine releases your cash out, first eliminate your card and then cash to avoid ATM card captures.
- After taking your cash out, don’t stop anywhere until you enter your home.
- Stay updated regarding SMS notifications of transactions, the moment you see any unusual notification regarding the transaction, immediately report it to the bank or SASSA.
