SASSA paydays for all grants are different, make sure you arrive at the payment point or ATM on the date only for your grant, you might not receive your payment if you even reach the ATM before some hours of starting a new date.

You as a SASSA beneficiary can only collect your payments on the dates SASSA announces, and you can’t set your payment date according to yourself.
SASSA Payment Amounts
SASSA has set different grant amounts that beneficiaries receive for all grants, you won’t be able to set the grant amount for yourself or appeal to increase your grant amount.

Before you apply for any grant, it’s important for you to completely understand the grant for which you’re applying and then see your requirements and eligibility criteria to set.
The SASSA as a humanitarian agency, keeps track of economic prices in the country or inflation rate and can change the official grant amount of money accordingly.

Payment Withdrawal Precautions
- Try to schedule your nearest ATMs for withdrawals at least a week before.
- Before visiting the ATM, check your card validity and try to renew it for a week at least.
- Prefer your close relative from your home or a friend as a companion with you to the ATM.
- To avoid people rushing at ATM, avoid peak hours, and at the same time avoid late-night visits to ATM to save yourself from robberies.
- Never accept help offers from anyone present at the ATM cabin, nor ask for help.
- In case of any technical problem, only report to bank staff.
- While transacting, enter your PIn with one hand covered over keypad.
- After leaving the ATM cabin, don’t stop anywhere until you reach your home destination.
- Stay alert of SMS notification of your transactions and immediately report in case you see any unusual SMS notification related to transaction that you never made.
- To make your account and card more secure, you can consider changing PIN after every one or two months.
