Payment Withdrawal Precautions

  1. Try to schedule your nearest ATMs for withdrawals at least a week before.
  2. Before visiting the ATM, check your card validity and try to renew it for a week at least.
  3. Prefer your close relative from your home or a friend as a companion with you to the ATM.
  4. To avoid people rushing at ATM, avoid peak hours, and at the same time avoid late-night visits to ATM to save yourself from robberies.
  5. Never accept help offers from anyone present at the ATM cabin, nor ask for help.
  6. In case of any technical problem, only report to bank staff.
  7. While transacting, enter your PIn with one hand covered over keypad.
  8. After leaving the ATM cabin, don’t stop anywhere until you reach your home destination.
  9. Stay alert of SMS notification of your transactions and immediately report in case you see any unusual SMS notification related to transaction that you never made.
  10. To make your account and card more secure, you can consider changing PIN after every one or two months.
