Payment Withdrawal Precautions

  1. Try to plan your ATM withdrawals at your nearest location at least a week before.
  2. Before visiting the ATM, check your card’s validity and renew it at least a week in advance.
  3. Take a close relative or trusted friend with you, or a friend as a companion with you to the ATM.
  4. To avoid people rushing at ATM, avoid peak hours, and at the same time avoid late-night visits to ATM to save yourself from robberies.
  5. Never accept help offers from anyone present at the ATM cabin, nor ask for help.
  6. In case of any technical problem, only report to the bank staff.
  7. While transacting, enter your PIN with one hand covering the keypad.
  8. After leaving the ATM cabin, don’t stop anywhere until you reach your home destination.
  9. Stay alert to SMS notifications about your transactions and immediately report in case you see any unusual SMS notifications related to transactions you did not make.
  10. To make your account and card more secure, you can consider changing PIN after every one or two months.
