These grants are not made for everyone in the country; these are designed to support people like those struggling to find a job, old age or senior persons, children or foster children, and parents who are unable to meet the expenses of their children due to certain reasons.
Anyone from such a group of people can get these grants, but after following and going through some standardized processes and requirements.
SASSA grant is a free money for deserving public, these are not loans, also there is no any loan service SASSA provides.
People who are truly eligible, which means an elderly person who is unable to earn to support basic household expenses, can benefit from this.
On the other hand, an elderly person having unable to support his/her expenses but have high value assets or have childrens with good income sources is not eligible to have such benefits.
